If you are opening an account with a new Domain, you will be provided with this option on our account signup forms. If you are already a customer, you can use your Customer Control Center. On new accounts, we use eNom, Inc as the registrar.

If you are registering a new Domain, it takes typically from 24 to 48 hours for the DNS to propagate throughout the internet.

If you are transferring your domain from another registrar, the timing varies depending on the registrar you are transferring from. Normally transfers can take up to a week, depending on how quickly you and the current registrar approves the transfer. Some extensions, such as .org, require a 'transfer key' that you need to provide from your current registrar.
Is there an interruption in service when I transfer my Domain Registrar?

No, there should be no impact to your web site and/or e-mail. When the domain is transferred, all information, including the nameserver (DNS) information, is kept in tact. (Please note that we are talking about domain Registrar Transfer, not your domain web site account transfer (dns), which is different).
